Kane did a very good job of bringing this world and concept to the big screen in a way that will be digestable for a much larger audience, but at the same time I'm not sure there was really enough meat on the bone. Definitely understand the hype now, very solid and actually feels a bit fresh for the genre. Inde Navarrette is simply a revelation, the heart and soul that makes the film work as well as it does. Enjoyed this more than I expected, even if it wasn't anything groundbreaking.
