The animation in this is stellar, I’d even project this on my wall and loop it endlessly like some kind of art installation thingy, it’s that good. But I couldn’t  confidently tell you what the heck this was about.

The plot with North finding new parents turns out to be a dream in Elijah Wood's head, so being from his imagination... NORTH is more than a story of a kid wanting unconditional love from his parents, it's a tale of how children in 1990's America perceive other cultures in the world with narrow minded racist stereotypes, with the character of North representing all children. Really a progressive film. Rob Reiner did not fail us, we failed him.

An absolute riot, a roller coaster of action and adventure, with a passion for science-fiction not seen since the likes of Star Wars and The Black Hole. Battlefield Earth will set forth a battle within your brain, and will reign victorious in convincing yourself that you've witnessed a once in a lifetime gem.
