When the message of your film is how only love and growth can heal tragedy instead of hate and apathy, you know you're making the right kind of movie. To be able to tell that message in a film that features half a dozen genres, some visceral moments of brutality, soft-science time-travel concepts, and arthouse-style, subtle dramatic moments, then you're definitely doing it the right way, too.
Redux Redux certainly has its fans from the film festival circuit last year, but the lack of fanfare for its release to the mass market feels like a missed opportunity to trumpet this new age genre classic.
