Just need to preface that I’ve watched hours of backrooms content and am familiar with the subject. 

Loved the atmosphere and set design here, really effective uncomfortable mood and great camera direction. I think the weakest part is the story but I also understand how difficult it would probably be to make an effective plot for Backrooms because the concept itself is difficult to explain.

I actually quite like Glen Powell as a lil leading man, and while the pacing is kind of weird the entire movie I thought the kills, however unrealistic, were entertaining enough because of how smooth he is. I really didn’t jive with Margaret Qualley’s character but I understand her necessity for the plot and soul sucking ending. It’s good, it’s not great, it feels a little weird because billionaires are ruining the world right now.
