Great work from all three above-the-title guys, but you also get Mikey Biehn, John Spencer, David Morse, Tony Todd, Philip Baker Hall, Stuart Wilson. The only Michael Bay movie I really like.

I don't care much about baseball but I love a baseball movie. This is the best one since EVERYBODY WANTS SOME!! but it resonates even more deeply than that one because these players are all amateurs, most of whom are in the bottom of the ninth of life.
