As I’ve said before, I can’t forgive a lot of roughness in a story if it looks GOOD. the visuals here are just so highly stylized with colors and costumes and angles and shots gorgeously curated which compels me so deeply. Some classic Boots Riley body moments and twists. luv the absurdist satirical news clips and unionizing and anti-capitalist solitarity and lakeith stanfield is so hot I’d lowkey be tempted by his offer. great casting across the board especially keke. mostly this makes me miss the bay so much

This is my least favorite movie of all time. I had to watch it in a Film and Literature class, and my teacher chose the scene where Nicolas Cage masturbates to the thought of having sex with Meryl Streep for us high school juniors to analyze. We watched that scene five times in a row.
