I mostly knew this film as a meme, but it’s mostly a fun product of its time. I think it’s fairly good at exposing the shallowness of the existence in the “ideal” life of Reagan’s America. The main issue is the film more or less undercuts that by the end, which is really frustrating. Still, I had a good time
Felt it was the right time to finally give this a watch. I always knew what a technical marvel this film was, and it very much is that, do not get it twisted. But I was even more moved by the sheer humanity this film offered.

A really funny and brutal dark comedy. Wild comparison, but it reminded me of The Sopranos’ depiction of the American dream. Maybe could have been trimmed a bit, but other than that really solid.

Work environment stressed me the hell out, but ended up being a solid film! Was a bit worried what direction it was heading towards the end, but turned out to be pretty satisfying overall!
