I mean yeah it's bad but everyone put their whole pussy into this. I'm kinda shocked Cannon got such a high budget for this one. It's very fun just because some insane stunt happens every other scene. I kinda expected this movie to be more blatantly evil politically like Death Wish, but the plot is so incoherent that I'm not even really sure what it's trying to say. The 80s were an incredible time for cinema because even its bad movies were a lot more fun than 90% of what gets made today.

Forgot to log this because I got horribly addicted to Mewgenics but yeah this was pretty great even though I've only seen a few episodes of the show. Very funny and I was almost constantly mystified by how they pulled any of this off. The sentimentality would have probably resonated with me more if I had seen more of the show but all of the jokes land regardless.

There's a lot of interesting themes touched on and gestured at but none of it felt like it had enough meat to really chew on. Which, that's not inherently bad it doesn't have to be a thought-provoking work of art but the plot itself felt really generic and…
