This is a perfectly fine Star Wars cartoon and I went into it with really high hopes that were only somewhat met. I'm a pretty big fan of Genndy Tartakovsky's other work as a lot of my childhood revolved around watching Dexter's Laboratory and Powerpuff Girls as I didn't have Nickelodeon growing up. I truly enjoyed this and went in with very few expectations which was helpful. I wasn't a huge fan of del Toro's Pinocchio but this retelling resonated fuller and more beautifully to me.
