This movie is super fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously while also featuring one of my new favorite, cool looking movie creatures!

This is so much fun- what a mess! A sweaty, bloody disaster of a movie made by people who think they know about bdsm but very much do not 😆👍🏻

If I can’t describe in any other way how obsessed with this movie I am, I’ll just say that my whole lower back piece tattoo is dedicated to it. Ridley Scott can do fantasy like few others can. It’s beautiful, whimsical, dramatic, stressful, dreamlike and sexy all in one. Also, if you watch it for the first time, I suggest you watch the original release with the Tangerine Dream soundtrack before watching the director’s cut 😉

This is one of the best exorcism movies I’ve seen. There are tiny little hints sprinkled all throughout this film that show how harmful this way of thinking can be.  I love how it’s a realistic take on the concept of “possession” and stigmas relating to mental health. It’s very unsettling while also having refreshing tones of empathy.
