If you get it, you get it. If you're expecting a traditional horror film, this probably won’t work for you. Kane Parsons absolutely nailed the atmosphere. Creepy, unsettling, and straight-up nightmare fuel. It’s brilliant, right down to the smallest details.
Jason Segel telling Samara Weaving she’s a bad actress might be the craziest part of the film. Pretty funny at times and nonstop chaos, with great performances from both leads. The story could’ve been stronger, and this honestly could’ve been shorter. Not something I’d revisit, but it gets the job done
“What a confusing f***ing night.”
Came in with expectations, and this one held its ground. The lead’s strong, the backstory actually works, and the humor lands without trying too hard. It’s got some cheese, but that comes with the territory. Damn solid slasher, go see it
Not nearly as “bad” as people are making it out to be. It’s your standard action-comedy that knows what it is. Nothing groundbreaking, but it gets the job done. It has its moments and doesn’t overstay its welcome. Murphy’s still got it.
