The effects are so fun and insane. The plot is kinda weird and boring compared to the delightful imagery, but that’s fine.

Huh, this was weird. It really felt like it was going somewhere but I don't think it landed the plane. Ending wasn't satisfying. Great music and fun animation, genuinely heartfelt.

idk man this absolutely rules, every shot is visually stunning, sound is great, pacing is great, is accurate to the book. What more do you want really. Excited to see it again.

Marvelous! A wonderful film about film, even down to the final beat. Taking off a half star for the first 5 minutes or so, it didn't really hook me for a bit. Once it got going, every gag is perfect. How did he do those billiards?? Jumping into the car from the building, jumping off the train, all absolutely incredible. 
So many tropes that are probably started here too. Amazing.
