Remains a somewhat undefinable experience with the relative clarity of 16mm projection, but I have a take brewing about the ways in which the most prevalent way to watch Flaming Creatures, via a heavily pixelated 240p-ass rip on Ubuweb and/or YouTube, while valuable, create a post-facto censorship that curbs the confrontational elements of Jack Smith’s perfectly imperfect film.
