I feel differently about this movie with every watch

Hundredth watch and I only just found out Mark Knopfler composed the score

This is one of the prettiest movies ever omg and the score is gorgeous

I’m so disappointed. I was bored the entire first half. I didn’t care for Nick- I get he’s the narrator but Tobey Maguire was so boring. Never read the novel and all I knew about this movie was from all the tik tok edits I’ve seen, so I had completely different expectations for the plot (my own fault). I understand the themes, but the entire idea has so much potential for a romance.
