I don’t know how I hadn’t seen it before but it’s really fucking good

After the film I overheard a teenage girl saying "It's not what I was expecting... but it also was what I was expecting?" and I think that pretty much sums it up

Watched this with my 8 year old. Honestly it’s a roll of the dice watching anything from the 90’s in the light of day but we got out surprisingly unscathed. She was riveted by the premise, who doesn’t want to find a long lost twin at summer camp during a fencing match? It was pretty weird how chill the parents were about seeing their kid for the first time in 11 years and even weirder how they couldn’t remember why they broke up, but who am I to question 90s romcom logic?
