Gaslighting and emotional manipulation 101

Had low expectations going in and came away loving this version of Gotham. Surprisingly even more grounded and dark than Nolan’s batman

The idea that really makes this work (besides the great stylistic choices) is that Robert Pattison’s Bruce Wayne is solely obsessed with being a vengeful Batman and the story pushes him to be more than that 

Not sure how this tone with fit into the larger DC movie universe, but excited for a sequel

Essential Black romcom and a sneaky good sports film. Sanaa Latham is so endearing even while she’s pissed off.  If you grew up in the lates 80s or early 90s the soundtrack will really hit you. And of course, the emotional and satisfying final game of the film is legendary.

Definitely gonna hit teenagers and adults harder than children, but I appreciated seeing a world that looked like my childhood (late 90s - early 200s) on screen

Oh and the 4*Town songs could be legit boyband hits from that era
