Watched this with a knot in my chest that never really went away. No movie has ever come this close to making me cry.

This movie is deeply human. It doesn’t try to over-explain anything, which makes it feel even more real. The slow pacing really works for me.

Jacob Elordi is perfect as a seven-foot science experiment. Mia Goth is wild, weird, and perfect (as always). Del Toro turned Frankenstein into a sad and beautiful love letter to monsters.
