This could’ve easily been a 3.5-star movie if they hadn’t cast Saurabh Dwivedi as the villain. Seriously, who thought he could act?? Who was the casting Director? He singlehandedly ruined the film for me. Giving it 2.5 stars only because Saif Ali Khan carried it with his screen presence.

what really got me was the screenplay. the film constantly resists easy moral conclusions and never allows the audience the comfort of easy answers. it keeps destabilizing your assumptions about people, prejudice, and social reality. even the narrative structure feels designed to leave you psychologically unsettled.

Under the Skin is one of those movies that completely defies expectations. It’s one of the most original films I've ever seen, and honestly, I’m still processing it. Director Jonathan Glazer’s vision is bold and completely unique. From the eerie, atmospheric sound design to the way the film is edited, everything about it is top-notch.
