I love Spider-Man. I think Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 are the pinnacle of blockbuster/superhero cinema, I think TASM 2 is incredible, I even think Far From Home is great. I have a lot of fondness for all three of these Spider-Men. I should be the target audience for this, but obviously I'm not because I actually paid attention during all of those films.

The only positive thing I can say about this movie is that it's slightly better at 2x speed. They're never bringing anything from this movie back, so it's literally worthless even within an MCU watch. (Yes, I know the celestial's in Brave New World, but they literally could've made any source of adamantium and it wouldn't have made a difference.)

Sweet, funny, tense, bloody Yakuza cinema with a trans positive message. This shouldn't work, this should be an absolute travesty, but it's shockingly fantastic. Amazing representation, well developed characters, great action, and all on an obviously low budget.
