Far from perfect, but so enthralling- the performances are just right for this kind of over the top melodrama and the cast is top notch. Great entertainment- steamy, sordid and just smart enough to be utterly fascinating.

Some ridiculous things happen in this movie, it’s very campy and often over-the-top but Joan’s performance in this is a blast to watch.
