Half a star is reserved for turning red
This is my second time watching this because the first time I tried I was so tired I couldn't tell the difference between de Niro and al Pacino
I can see why people love this cus it's got some great moments and watching 2 of the greatest actors go back and fourth is very entertaining
But some parts do drag on and some plot lines felt kinda unexplored, if this had been cut down to 2 hr 25 instead of 2 hr 50 I could see myself enjoying this a lot more
The last half an hour is definitely a 10/10 but I felt the runtime at some points, maybe feels a tiny bit longer than it needed to be
Aside from that this film is both revolutionary and influential the size of the set pieces and the amount of visual effects is crazy this was way ahead of its time
As well as having an iconic soundtrack, the scene where tuco first arrives at the graveyard has to be my favourite I can't believe this was made 60 years ago
