“When you’re lost.. the answer is simple. Just go where love is”
Loved it waaay more this time around, but mainly because I finally understood what Celine was trying to say here. Watching with a less cynical eye, I realized that her statement wasn’t to make audiences believe that love (in all its entirety) is always easy, but rather, that the feeling is.
What complicates things is how love operates under the constraints of a capitalistic society and culture where…
Honestly only loved the first 30-40 minutes before it lost me completely. Also my first Felinni, so there’s that. Would love to continue seeing his work though— not for the strong female leads lol, but at least for the ambitious shots (man knew where to put the camera at least).
P.S. the Trevi Fountain scene is still iconic and I would kill to see it that empty one day.. somehow 🤞🏽… maybe for a film? Idk life’s unpredictable, so can’t a girl dream?
As an IR girlie, I studied enough about global governance to know that this “america/western nations are gonna save the world” bullshit is crap. Multipolar world order for the win ✌🏽
Also, I paid to see Ethan Hunt sacrifice himself and die like the good white savior he pretends to be… so.. I want my money back 🙄
P.S. Pom Klementieff is *french kiss*
