Absolutely needs to be seen in original Japanese with subtitles because the work of translating Country Roads makes NO SENSE otherwise BAH! Anyway, great movie, great depiction of real life and real family in a million little ways, so many beautiful extra moments, so many extreme emotions in youth. I also probably wanted to marry my crushes at that age.
Moon the cat very high on list of best movie cats. Favorite 'new thing I noticed' was the Baron doll being in a slightly different position every appearance.
