one of the best things about this sequel is the way it shows peter parker as someone who still hasn’t fully become spider-man yet. he’s still not fully sure about himself and the kind of person he wants to be. that’s what makes his character journey feel more grounded, until eventually there’s a moment that makes him realize that spider-man is someone the people of new york city truly need.
