Super late to the party, but I thoroughly enjoyed the building suspense and the increasing cast, it felt as if a boiling pot was going to tip over at any moment. That scene in red (you know), beautiful and well-constructed.
I was paying attention to the subtitles way too much and definitely missed a lot of technicalities, so I'll have to rewatch.

That ending, wow. Pure cinema.

Came into this with mid expectations but left with a film that checked all the boxes expected from a zombie action thriller and then some! Gong Yoo was incredible in this (as were the rest of the cast for most instances) and the ending was a surprise I was very happy* with!.
Obviously, like many zombie movies, this had quite a few unreasonable moments, but it's to be expected. For its genre, this hit all its marks and will rate it accordingly.

Oscar-worthy performance from Chalamet in Marty Supreme, really wouldn’t be mad if him or MBJ or even Leo won Best Actor (haven’t watched secret agent). He was a true selfish asshole throughout, hope he wasn’t playing himself 😅

I was hooked in during the whole movie and the way Marty went about life really stressed me out, reminds of someone in know irl. Really impressed with the cast, all did great including the non-actors.

Beautiful film, Chloé Zhao what a hit. Hamnet was heartbreaking to the point my head was hurting. Great acting all around, Mescal underrated imo. Haven’t watched most of the competition but Buckley clearly a front runner.
I strongly wish I understand the final scene better than I did, definitely missed a lot there.
