Far less offensive than I was expecting. A couple eye-rolling jokes, but really has aged remarkably well, all things considered? 
Wild that Jessica Lange won the Oscar for this. While she’s absolutely fine, I’d say she’s easily the fifth or sixth best performance in this movie? Teri Garr genuinely ROBBED.

We should actually give MORE coked up writers a modest budget to smash cars together. 
What can I say? I GENUINELY enjoyed this. Stupid in a really, really fun way. Looks great. Takes place and was filmed in my home town. Love to see it.

Boy I wish this movie didn’t have that awful thing happen in the last act and just stayed a trashy, sleazy, badly-acted, beautifully-shot piece of camp fun.
