Not sure what I expected from Maxxxine, but i don’t think that was it..lol. The hype surrounding the third installation of this trilogy, probably affected production in some way. Because, even though I still had a fun time watching, the story was, in a way, predictable.
I loved the nods to Pearl and X in the film, however, some nods served as clear hints as to where the plot was taking us.

Quentin kinda majorly outdid himself with this one…he really took LA back in time to the 1970s and the way he rewrote a tragic part of Los Angeles and Hollywood history was just very kind and masterfully done.
Quentin may be into feet and probs a major weirdo…but that man can fucking make a FILM. This was also one of my favorite roles Leo has ever played in his career, he was funny, charismatic, made FANTASTIC choices as an actor…
One word. STRESSED. But this sequel held up in every way and in some ways was even better than the first. The visuals, the animation, the songs, how the story interweaves the characters individual story arch’s, THE COLORS!!!
I’m a die hard fan of the sing franchise and I was not disappointed by this sequel. Im even more excited for sing 3!!!
This movie makes me FEEL. The way Reese Withoutherspoon surprised me with her voice!!! Tori Kelly is Tori Kelly and she kills everytime. Really wish Scarlett didn’t take on a role of an Asian woman because she’s also a multitalented person, I just really don’t agree with her views or morals or her perspective of it means to be an actor.
