“Bugonia,” Yorgos Lanthimos’s latest film, struck me as a remarkably precise and well-balanced work. I’ll try to briefly explore a few of its aspects:

The performances are exceptional , especially Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons, both of whom deliver some of their finest work.
