Like my 6th rewatch and still unabashedly one of my fav movies. Best film shot on consumer dslrs (so sharp and glistening in black and white!) and always makes me love New York even more. I’m not Frances but I have been Frances more times than I’d like to admit. yet on this watch, sharing the same age of 27 as her, I hope to continue not shying away from her endearingly cringey yet honest messiness. from time to time ofc.
