Occasional director, awful writer.
About as silly and fun as a low budget, found footage movie about people encountering dinosaurs can be. Has some really charming stuff with the kid character and the dinosaur he befriends, and gives you enough spooky thrills to balance out the threadbare plot.
Also, this is bizarrely difficult to find online.
This thing goes on for way too long and gets so damn boring. Every other film student I've talked to has a fight-or-flight response whenever they hear the SINGLE piece of music this thing blasts out every five minutes.
It's well shot and well acted, but god, it's just unbearable.

This was a streaming presentation of Pyun's original director's cut, made before Menahem Golan forced him to recut it extensively. Pyun had this copy in film cans, and carried them around everywhere he went. It was only recently scanned and digitized, and premiered today.
And oh, what a different film this is from the released version.…
