Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace
★★★ Watched

Got the pleasure of experiencing this on Star Wars Day with my wifey and bestie! Despite a mildly hard-to-follow political conflict, I enjoyed them flying around yapping at each other and making parallels to the original trilogy!

Jar Jar Binks was a standout obviously...I loved everything about his presence as a Main Character doing fuck all. Baby Yoda is still cuter but I enjoy when they encounter a creature in the woods and then it follows them around all movie.…

No idea why we've invited such people as Dita Von Teese, who never knew Tura and was…

As a recovered Connecticuttian, I have been terrified to watch this movie. I recall enjoying the short story in high school, but did I want to watch a 90 minute recreation of a 10 page story?

Turns out that I did.

It's so intriguing how they layer this movie. The full story gets breadcrumbed to the viewer and protagonist at the same time, and they simultaneously progress the reality around him as you learn more information. The neighbors go from…
