This felt like a classic feel-good 90s law story - love that it had a somewhat realistic ending, in that no one wins against corporations in the US. I haven't read the book, but it very much felt like a book adaptation with the background narration. Not sure if the subplot of Matt Damon saving Claire Danes from domestic abuse was entirely needed (that fight was insane btw), but I guess all 90s stories needed a bit of action hero…

Rachel did the worst thing of the lot imo

great editing, great acting, and the cringe moments were almost too much to bear! love a film that descends into madness as well as this one

Songs are the best part, and also the 2000s vibes. Hrithik's character low-key became a villain, Rani shoulda fallen outta love with him and saved Pooja from his crazy ass too. Uday Chopra's character was random AF but fun ig. I'm glad they didn't make Pooja and Uday marry at the end I woulda been pissed. (almost) NO SONG SKIPS THO 😤

This was too real, low-key gave me flashbacks to middle school band (our teacher was one of the strictest and harshest I've ever had). Great commentary on the power imbalances and toxicity in conservatories and the arts education world in general. Fantastic acting, I truly felt pained at some points (esp having played the drums and knowing how rough some of that playing is). The ending wasn't what I was expecting but I guess is the best way this movie could've ended. Y'all gotta watch it!
