I repeat, there are no bad Evil Dead Movies
WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?
As someone who is a huge fan of the original graphic novel, I am disgusted.
As someone who is a huge fan of the 1994 film, I am also disgusted.
And what a waste, Bill Skarsgård has the exact facial structure of the comic Eric Draven, so how they fucked up the rest of his appearance this much is beyond me.
Jack Nicholson's Joker; comic accurate appearance and behaviour, in an adaptation that feels like…

What those psychiatrist and teachers were talking about when trying to explain what Carol Anne was doing can only be described as mental gymnastics.
There’s not really much to breakdown with this film so here’s just the pros and cons:
Pros:
- The mirror effect with Caroline being lifted up in the air was genuinely incredible. Go look at how they did that behind-the-scenes. It’s really fucking cool.

It’s nice to see Superman just being an all round good person, dude saved a squirrel, THIS is Superman.
All characters that have been adapted here have been nailed. Guy Gardner, a colossal…
Ok, so, when I watched this the first time I was so confused, because this got so much hate, but the film I saw was incredible, it was fun, set in a slightly surreal alternate version of 1930s America and filled with themes of feminist empowerment and political revolution, and with the spiritual presence of Mary Shelley.
And now I have rewatched it, I have to say, I’m still confused, ITS SO FUN, ITS SO COOL
I will never not…
