Not my first time watching Se7en, but it feels like it might as well be. I finally see how much I underestimated it. 
David Fincher, thank you for this masterpiece! This isn’t just a thriller, it’s a plunge into the darkest corners of human nature.
Somerset and Mills, two detectives with completely different ways of seeing the world, are forced to collide. 
And the ending… it doesn’t just shock, it crushes you! A movie that lingers long after it ends.

Exactly the kind of bittersweet I was looking for, and I already know I’ll appreciate it even more on a rewatch.
