Still maybe my least favourite Nolan so far, but there are so many good to brilliant pieces all through this, it still kinda sweeps you up.

Anne Hathaway is absolutely brilliant here. Truly some of her best work. And those last 40 minites absolutely rip.

The aspec ratio changes really pulled me out a bit, they're a bit all over the place compared with the really set-piece centred approach in TDK.

Boy I didn't realise how much Gordon-Levitt has big ears... It's so hot.

As emotional as Nolan has ever been. He starts really interrogating his ideas of love vs work here and asking more about the future of one's self than the past.

The verisimilitude across such a winding, technically complex piece as this is magnificent to behold. It feels and looks *easy* when it's anything but.

Cillian Murphy and Ken Wantanabe are exceptional here. Some of the best performances in any Nolan picture.

I was truly lulled into a false sense of security, I thought it was an okay film with, a thankful amount of shirtless Rohan Campbell to ease it along...

Then it hit about 29 minutes into the runtime and... fuck me...

I. WAS. L I V I N G! Really great performances including a pretty phenomenal voice-only performance. I had a total blast. Fuck yeah, THIS is how you do a remake.
