Tbh, I think I somehow had higher expectations. It was fine, had some funny moments, and the acting is great, but honestly it didn’t really stick with me afterward.

A really strong miniseries, intriguing and emotionally intense. I especially liked the ending; it was done in such an unconventional and thought-provoking way.
First of all, the music choices are great, and the performances are solid across the board, with Nicole Kidman delivering one of her finest. The chemistry between the leads works well, though I’ve seen better dynamics. While the movie could have been more intense, it falls a bit flat at times, there are moments that truly shine, with scenes that are both perfectly funny and awkward at the same time. Overall, it’s a good movie that just misses being great.
I watched this years ago and barely remembered anything, so revisiting it was a treat. Such a charming film—stunning aesthetic, direction, acting, everything. The love story is engaging, and the visuals make it even more mesmerizing. I’m not usually a fan of musicals, but it’s impossible to deny how perfectly the music fits here, elevating every moment.
