Well my interview went very well! I must say, I did my very best, so I’m happy. It was one of those group interviews. I’d never done one before, but I like them a lot more than the one-on-one interviews. It was a little comforting—sitting in a circle with a bunch of people who were just as eager and nervous as I was. ^^’

There were around 15 of us, and after the interview, two other girls as well as myself got called aside. Apparently we stood out, because the interviewer said we were up for consideration. I wanted to do back flips! So in a few weeks, I’ll find out if I got the job or not. :-/ I can’t wait.

I got a lot done this week. I paid my class fees, did an assessment test—I destroyed the reading and English parts so I don’t have to take any of those classes, and I moved up a math class! Whee! Now I’m not in basic math anymore! LOL!

My Uncle died on Tuesday. I was in shock for a few days there, but now the realization’s finally settling in, and. . . I don’t know, it’s hard. The funeral’s next Thursday, so my parents and I have to head out of town on Wednesday. He’s been cremated, which I think is good—I don’t want anyone’s last memory of him being in a coffin. I don’t care how much make-up they put on someone, a dead person looks dead.

/Sigh.

He was a cool Uncle, very mellow and kind. I will miss him.

On a lighter note: I’ve decided to write a shōjo-ai (girl’s love) story! Yaoi gets so much love, and exposure. Besides—it’s a nice change/challenge for me. So far the rough chapters are coming out nicely. Very slice-of-life with unrestrained, intense, “head-case” characters [much like my other stories] :’D

I was looking over my deviant art account and WHOOEEE! I need to clean it up. I haven’t updated it with anything decent in like. . . ever. And now I’m completely distracted with Y!Gallery. Yum. What the hell was I talking about? Oh yeah, my DA account. I tried making a new one, but ehhh~ such a pain in the ass. I’m half-tempted to delete the whole thing. But like, all those faves and comments. . . [thinks] No I probably will delete it. If I really want another one I’ll just make a new one in the far distant future. For now, I am content with my y-gal account. Any art I create will just be posted on my C9 art blog I suppose.

Let me tell you about the Remington Wet 2 Straight 2" Hair Straightener. For serious.
 

Although quite heavy on the wallet [around $32] this straightener’s got it going on! It has these special little vents which allow you to use it on wet or damp hair. I’ve heard a lot of complaints about the steam burning people’s hands, but so far this has never happened to me. Perhaps it is because I actually keep my fingers away from the steam vents. >_>“ /ahem

High-tech and sturdy, with a special cord that moves around easily! Huzzah.
Now I have lots of thick, unruly hair and this baby can tame it. Albeit with a little hair serum. . .
