Can anyone tell me what hylo-idealism is? It seems to be a word used to describe Oscar Wilde's The Canterville Ghost, yet it isnt in any dictionary and no one I know seems to be familiar with the term. Any help would be appreciated.

anyone know where i may be able to find an english translation of Miracle de Theophile online? Or even a synopsis of summary?

For a quiz coming up I need to know the present tense conjugation of 'haben' and I can't find it anywhere. Could someone point me to a source or post the eight words as a reply? I'd appriciate it very much. Thank you in advance.

I know Dari is practically the same as Farsi; the accent is just slightly different. I already speak Farsi and I want to take the Dari DLPT (big military language test) in the near future so that I have another language under my belt. I'm having trouble finding books in Dari that go over basic things like the alphabet and pronunciation. Does anyone in this community know of books that might help me out?

A friend of mine is moving to Beijing and just asked if I know of any really good Chinese language schools there. I told her I'd ask around. Apparently she and her husband are both interested in a one-week intensive course, if possible, and then I think she plans to continue with lessons after that. If anyone has information you could give us, we'd be very grateful.
