Cottage Dreams
Tim is my hero! ^_^ *giggles*
Yeah, work today was great. My Head Instructor lives on Janine's street, so she gave me a ride home. No walking for Laura Anne! ^_^ (Walking outside in the winter with wet hair when I forgot my earmuffs at home is NOT a good thing!)
Computers was interesting. I thought Derek was going to throw the machine if it said "Unable to resolve symbol" Once more. (I fixed it for him, he was forgetting brace brackets, AGAIN) Also, Our teacher just got up and left. I ain't kidding. He just walked out of the room about ten minutes into class. Thirty minutes later a female math teacher poked her head in and flipped out because we had no teacher. So, she stayed the rest of the class. I saw our real teacher later and he said he went to get lunch... *shakes head* I always knew he was wierd, but this takes the cake!
Oh! The presentation I gave on Monday, when I could barely talk, I managed to get an 80%! Not my best mark ever, not as good as I was hoping, but better than I expected afterwards! I was -so- happy!
My english teacher was away again. And the supply was Austin. It was SO hard not to call him by his first name. It's weird to have a teacher that used to be a member of drama club before I came to the school, and while he was in university he visited all the time to help out... so I know him as Austin, not Mr. Parkinson or whatever his name is.
And instead of doing Stone Angel (YUCK) work, we talked about whether or not Unicorns exist, which quickly became a debate about what "existance" means... It started getting really surreal... I thought my head might implode!
A philosopher, I am not ^_^
The school dance is gonna be an even bigger joke than I thought. In one week, they've sold five tickets. Four to memebrs of the council. *laura giggles* Thankfully, I don't hafta go. I'm on rotation the night after, and working that next morning, no time to go to a crappy school dance.
Not that I'd have a date, either ^_^
Oh! The old Mailing List I usedto moderate, about Space Cases actually has activity! I was -so- surprised! Space Cases hasn't been on TV in two years, and everyone on the list has seen every episode twenty times.... But still! *sniffs* I loved Space Cases. Peter David kicked ass! When I found out he wrote a TV show I was SO thrilled!
Nobody even remembers Space Cases anymore.... *sniffs again* I miss Space Cases!
It was like Star Trek, for kids! But... not! Yeah, that made sense.... I'll hafta find my old SC tapes if I didn't lose them when we moved.
I wonder is "Pilot Candidates" ir Megami Kohousei.... *hmmmm* I think I remember Janine saying something about it showing in the states soon.... Wonder what the dub will be like.... hell, I wonder how thy're gonna show a 12 episodes show with no real ending...
That reminds me, I really should watch the last episode of that.
I think I'm gonna change around my blog a bit soon, might move it to my domain, so it can be prettier. Haven't really decided yet. The colours are sorta boring... I'll hafta change tham at least...
Hmm..
If the image doesn'tload, it says I must be a Torontonian, so I don't count

Take the What Kind of Canadian are You? Test by lamaitresse!
I think I'm offended.... I'm from a SUBURB of Toronto, dammit! ^_^ ;) I was born in TO though.... I'm so proud of my Torontonianness..... *blink *right.
Would rather be from nanticoke, or port dover, y'know, those cool towns from where my cottage is!
Yeah, I'm getting strange.... I just love the area where my cottage is, though. It;s one of the prettiest areas of ontario, IMHO. and it's not northern Ontario, like where everyone else goes.
I love my cottage! ^_^
Ciao!
