Ways To Deal With Having Feelings, Kindred Edition
Hiiiii, it's me, Daekie, with one of the Barge's resident vampires, we've got a few of those. I also play Ishmael but she's not important right now. I come to you with A Murder Plot today that I'd like to carry out mid-April (so, next week; in a perfect world I would've posted this last week but OH WELL).
This is less a classic inmate murder spree and more a few targeted & premeditated murders. Ash has been intermittently planning this for a while, but kept putting it off — however he recently had positive feelings about his life and received genuine affection (I'm being reductive, admittedly) so he needs to immediately nuke everything from orbit before the nice bit can happen again. So she needs to remind everyone that she's something to be loathed and hated: it's her role! It's what she's been made for. She's not a thing that deserves to be happy or to ever forget what she is, and for a moment there — it was too close for comfort.
(Well. Too close to comfort, anyway.)
So for this purpose I'm looking for a few UNLUCKY MURDER VICTIMS. Specifically, three of them! At least one is dying Night 1 and one on Night 2, the third can go wherever they'd like.
Victims should be either wardens or unpaired inmates (preferably the latter, but she'll take what she can get), out and about at night, and not necessarily liable to have multiple people raise an alarm if they're missing for 12-24 hours. Deaths will be quick and quiet: she's a shapeshifter, she's got a lot of options.
Details of how this is all going down are inside the beautiful Details tab below:
Methods of death are fairly simple: wear a false identity, approach the victim in a secluded area or lure them into one somehow, and then kill them quickly and quietly. Ashton is a nasty little shapeshifter and has a lot of equally nasty tricks: for this he's primarily doing something a la Lust (Fullmetal Alchemist) and skewering victims through the heart or the brain, though strangulation and broken necks are also possible.
These corpses aren't meant to stay hidden forever or even for a long time (if that was what Ash was going for he has... other options), but a day, two days, maybe three. Shove them in closets, vents, a library crawlspace nobody goes in. Just get them out of the way. Norton has to go first; they're not sure if he'd know when an unpaired inmate dies, but safety first.
On the second night, her warden John is going to find one of the bodies from the first night & determine it was her via his psychometry. Realizing they've been found out, Ashton will swap to targeting Sokie Undertown, who they're very fond of and who John's extremely close to, and kill her just before John can interrupt them. They'll otherwise be contained without putting up a fight: they did what they meant to do.
Victims:
Vis-à-vis warden consequences: Ashton is losing the right to be alone outside her cabin and will be perpetually accompanied by a construct of John's for the foreseeable future (...and beyond that.); she is specifically not having Admiral constraints put on her powers. She'll also be learning a non-violent discipline with John.
I'm fully open to basically any IC retribution whatsoever from other characters both now and at any point in the future :> but that's me, I love a good consequence

Trust the process.
Warden victims will be cuffed and gagged with "natural materials" -- she can't be checking on them every eight hours, she's asleep during the day, but if they're killed on Night 1 they're liable to pick up a second stacking death toll on Night 2.Methods of death are fairly simple: wear a false identity, approach the victim in a secluded area or lure them into one somehow, and then kill them quickly and quietly. Alexei would be off the table for Reasons but R here is unpaired and new enough that no one would notice he was missing. Perfect target, right?
