Dracula blinked down into his first experience with Klingon Bloodwine, then shrugged and took a tentative swallow.
I'm lazy loggin' it!
She still happily calls to Vladislaus when she sees him.] Vlad! Vlad hello! [She waves cutely, sticking her feet out. This is amazing.]
:D
Miss Zev. You're ravishing as usual. You seem to be having a good time as well! Good, good.

I like this place so far. It seems very nice. I've never been anywhere like it!

If this is what interplanetary society can be like in a few centuries, then I like the living even more. Imagine the sort of society that has it together enough that they can manage an entire resort would. It's...oop! Here it is. [he reaches inside his vest, laughing, and produces what looks like an ordinary white rose with gilt foliage. The bottom is surrounded by a capsule with some sort of gel inside of it.]

You've certainly the change in mood. [She looks at the flower curiously, and a little as if she's considering taking a bite out of it.
She might. But she seems to settle for holding it for now and checking for any thorns.]
no subject
[The rose reacts to being in her hands by opening slightly and starting to change color. No thorns, but the gold coloring turns out to be natural instead of gilt.]
Third Day: Gift Shopping

"I am fine," she informed him, although in truth she had wanted to look a little longer. She couldn't communicate with the tech here or anywhere else, but she could see that it was different from Earth tech and she wanted to know how.
The salesman muttered something about gawking tourists and dirty thieves.

He turned back to her, manner entirely changed to a mild and unimposing politeness. "I...saw a much larger and more diverse electronics market a few blocks over, but as I am from the Victorian era I understand none of it. If you have an interest and do not mind a few simple questions, the Bajoran family that run it are lovely--and well mannered--people."
no subject
"If you believe you may understand the answers, you are welcome to ask," she answered instead, by way of both agreeing and offering something in return. Strange, that she should offer anything in return at all, but she did want to take a look at those electronics.

"I am Vladislaus Dracula. Vlad will do. And yes, I would be in your debt. Anything I do not understand I will simply look up later." He started leading her in that direction. To him technology was this awesome, shiny thing, so much more interesting than the supernatural powers he was used to.

Third Evening: Big Damn Hero Time
A man was carrying a bundle out to the center of the bridge. The bundle was small-child-sized and squirmed. Dracula paused, hovering in midair, his eyes widening as he saw the man lift up the bundle and then throw it over the side.
He flew for all he was worth, diving down toward the falling bundle, determined to get to it before the (child?) hit the water. The man was already hurrying away. He cut the dive so close that his legs splashed into the water, but he grabbed the bundle, which was incriminatingly wiggly and warm.
"Futu-ti mortii mati!" he roared after the retreating figure as he hurriedly settled onto the bridge and started opening the tied-shut mouth of the sack.
Then he just...blinked...at what was inside.
You can haz Willow? (A little later)
Ee!
Dracula glanced up--and shrugged, smiling good-naturedly. "What can a man do? You'll never believe the story behind this, though."
The red one and one of the black ones got up and trotted over to investigate Willow.
hehehehehe
"Something happened?" she asked, mouth pulling into a small frown as she studied the other vampire. He didn't look hurt, at the very least.
no subject
"Or...so I thought."
The black kitten sat down on Willow's foot and stared up at her speculatively.
no subject
"Sounds naughty." A slight pause, there - old habits die hard, and some words were still stuck.
no subject
"That one appears to be sizing you up."
The kitten sat back on her haunches and pawed at the air.
