WHO: Peter and Elle
WHEN: some point after Howie lets Elle out of zero
WHERE: Peter's room
WARNINGS: emo
Elle didn't know what she was supposed to make of this place, where everyone said they knew her and that she'd been here before. For all she knew, they were lying. Even Adam... might not really be Adam, if that Crane guy was to be believed. But regardless of where she'd ended up, Peter was here and she wanted to see him, to clear up this little problem of him abandoning her.
So she headed for his room. There was a brief moment where she was dead sure it was on the second floor, but that had to be wrong. Of course it wasn't on the second floor. She stood in the stairwell, staring out at the second floor hallway, wondering why she would think that, and why it felt so natural to walk this way to see Peter. But the moment passed, and she moved on.
When she got to the right door, she paused, smoothed down her skirt, and knocked.

It'd been two years since he'd last seen her. He hadn't even started to dissect his feelings for her since he got back.
Peter went to answer the door, looking a little surprised when he saw Elle on the other side. "Hi Elle. What's up?"

She reached up and touched his face where there'd been a big cut, looking at him curiously before dropping her hand to his chest and circling around him into the room.
"Why'd you leave, Peter?" Her tone of voice was unconcerned, but she really did need to know the answer. He'd made her like him, and she wasn't about to forget or forgive that.

"I thought I had things to do."
That wasn't really a great answer but it was better than just blaming it all on Adam, right?

"Oh, so it was okay to use me," she said, keeping her tone even. She gave his shirt a tug, smoothing out any wrinkles in it before reaching for his hand. "I guess we're stuck with each other now, huh?"

"I'm not going anywhere for a while."

"I do care about you," Peter said sincerely. He cautiously put a hand over hers. "I care about you a lot more than you know right now."

She grabbed him by the hips and pushed him up against the wall, standing on her toes and leaning in so their lips almost touched.
"What kind of good terms?" She smirked.

He forced a hand between them, putting it on her shoulder and pushing her back a couple inches. "We were friends," he told her, and pray that if she ever remembered her time here before, she'd forgive him for that bending of the truth.

She grabbed the collar of his shirt, yanked him towards her, and kissed him hard.

His conscience won out in the end, unwilling to take advantage of her like that and after a brief moment of returning that kiss, Peter pushed on her shoulders harder this time. "Stop, Elle. I mean it."

She stared at him, breathless, her eyes searching his. She couldn't figure it out. So she forced herself to let it go, smile broadly, and say, "That wasn't so bad, was it?"
fff I am so sorry for the delay. I've been working all weekend :c
"Elle, please. Let's just be friends right now."
no worries bb <3
"I thought you liked me, Peter," she said evenly, smoothing out a few wrinkles in his shirt. "I'm disappointed."
