Let my head be empty of any thoughts
Who: Gojyo and you
Where: All over!
When: During the Retrospect flood
What: De-aged versions of Gojyo
Warnings: A little kid being hungover in the first prompt (I am a horrible person). Implied past child abuse in the first and second prompt. Violence and underage drinking likely in the third prompt. ETA: a bit into the first thread with Armand, there's thoughts on taking advantage of a minor and suicidal ideation.
I. For Hakkai and Jedao:
The night before had involved enough drinks that the prospect of walking all the way back to his own cabin had seemed too bothersome.
The Gojyo that wakes up in Hakkai and Jedao's guest room the next morning is nine years old, and he can't remember the last time he woke up in a proper bed. He can't remember lying down in a proper bed the night before. Where is this--? He sits up abruptly, throwing the covers off and scrambling to get down.
He barely has time to reach the floor before the headache hits, like it's about to split his skull. His legs shake to the point that Gojyo crumbles to the floor with a whimper.
II.
Gojyo at nine years old should be easily recognisable by anyone who knows him: the crimson hair and eyes are the same; his hair pulled up in a ponytail. His clothes are worn and due for a washing; he has some cuts and bruises (but nothing quite as bad as before he got thrown out on the streets), and the scars on his left cheek stand out even more on his small face: a starker colour, less healed-over than they will be in adulthood.
He does his best to stay out of sight. Snatching a morsel of food where he can (the dining hall being a free-for-all sounds like an obvious trap, after all), and always on the look-out for anything he can turn into a makeshift weapon.
Most likely, he'll be less skittish around other kids than adults.
III.
At other times, Gojyo is fifteen years old; tall and lanky with chin-length crimson hair partially pulled back in a ponytail. He's put on a considerable amount of muscle in the last few years, and his clothes are cleaner.
He woke up in a cabin that had an entire drawer stuffed to the brim with cigarette packs - he's fucking RICH! This is great, assuming he doesn't stop to consider what is even going on here, which he won't. Gojyo's modus operandi is that he doesn't think, which works just great for him.
He's delighted to discover that he has access to the Lounge and will happily flirt with any pretty girl around his age. If you are a teenager or adult (not a little kid) who looks like an especially bully-able nerd, however... Gojyo might just approach you, grinning widely.
"Hey~"
Which sounds really friendly and all, but somehow alarm bells are probably still going off?

iii.
He has the advantage of information about Gojyo at this age (he has information about Gojyo at a younger age too, of course, but he feels that would be less useful).
He shifts slightly into a posture that has something of a 'don't fuck with me' air - as long as you don't know what that really looks like on him. There are times when you can show your vulnerabilities, and times when you're dealing with a teenager who no doubt already has a certain view of the world. Armand had had the pleasure of meeting Banri.
"I see you've been hit."
Re: iii.
"With the kids stuff everyone's going on about? Guess so, huh."
What bullshit. Gojyo's not a kid.
He can read the don't fuck with me easily enough. Youkai, he thinks. He can't spot any limiters, but sometimes it's about the vibes.
Gojyo's leans against the doorframe in a blatant display of ownership, lighting one of his ill-gotten cigarettes.
"This your place, man?"
He's an adult, but not a big one. Gojyo could take him, claim this place for himself. He doesn't particularly care about having a place to stay, but the treasure trove of cigs and alcohol is too good to give up.
Re: iii.
He agrees that Gojyo's not a kid, at least.
"Only in part. We both live here." He waves towards his room. There's no suggestion in tone or attitude that it's anything other than a casual matter of sharing space that might happen if you have enough to afford a place to live.
He generally does feel that it's more reasonable to have company than live alone, no matter the specific nature of the relationship, so it's not difficult.

“Hi. Do you have your own room?”
Re: III
Gojyo walks straaaight up to Malcolm and clasps a heavy hand on his shoulder.
"I'm gonna need you to give me your wallet ♥"

He turns to the hey immediately, too jumpy to pretend at indifference. "What?" The word comes out flat, too old for him. Too tired.
Re: iii
He holds out a hand in demand.
"Gonna need all your valuables ♥"

"Towards the door -? No, no we'll just-
"No, no, you're right, no, yeah. You got it?
"Yeah."
A boy in blue with a stolen adult's field jacket on plants his feet in the middle of the hall and talks loud enough that he hopes the ponytail kid hiding in the common room will hear him.
"I wish we could find more people who are good at sneaking around. If we could get someone on the expedition that could be our stealth expert, I bet we could get twice the food we have now with them on our team.
And we've also got basic first aid and a machine that washes clothes."
"You're bad at this."
"Oh, you're not better!"
Re: II
He's resigned himself to the idea that he's on his own. But that doesn't mean he doesn't want to band together with others.
The common room is empty save for Gojyo and the other kids, and two kids are relatively safe. Gojyo could take them both, if things come to blows, he's pretty sure. He stands up from his hiding place.
"You are bad at this", he agrees. But he's listening. "What expedition?"

She jumps up, annoyed that the lock apparently didn't work the way she expected it to, grabbing a knife and brandishing it at him. "What do you want?!"
Re: II
One unexpectedly waving a knife in his face is a different matter: Gojyo takes a step back, holding up his hands.
"Nothing! There were people in the hallway--"
Re: II
She narrows her eyes, looking between Gojyo and the door.
"...if you tell anyone about this, I will use this on you. And I know how to make it hurt."

Aerith offered Gojyo a warm smile, making sure her hands were in sight. "Were you looking for a snack?"
Re: II
That's clearly a lie: he doesn't look like he gets regular meals. The woman looks kind, but you never know. You definitely never go with what a random stranger offers without knowing what they want.

There's a brief glint of light off the knife she tucks in by her leg, mostly concealed by the fold of her pants, and she surveys the strange boy through narrowed, wary eyes. She's not immediately hostile, but another kid near her age, scarred and bruised, is a potential threat.
"Who are you?"
Re: II
But it's just another kid: a potential threat, yes, but not one he can't handle, he thinks.
"Gojyo. Sorry, I didn't-- I thought this room was empty."
He can tell she's got a knife. He wishes he had one.

Young Gojyo doesn't get the benefit of that quite yet, as she gives him a look up and down.
"Holy fuck, you're short."

He's taller than her, so there!

He was the tiniest, most adorable vampire ever. He was still quiet, particularly right now since he did not know where he was, but there was certainly more animation in his expressions as he wandered the hallways. He was looking for anything familiar but so far he was having no luck.
He barely spotted the red haired boy as he passed by the commissary. Adrian wasn't hiding--in his mind, anyone that tried to harm him would have to deal with his father--and he didn't quite understand why the other boy was slinking about. He could smell the faint hint of food though.
Adrian perked up as he spoke. "You know there's a whole hall of food up above if you're hungry."
Re: ii.
Still. The kid doesn't sound unfriendly. And he's alone - Gojyo could beat him up if he needs to, he's sure. He risks standing up.
"It's weird that no one's charging for it."
Highly suspect!
