What: Undergrowth Flood
When: Entire Flood
Where: All over the Barge
Warnings: Violence during the later part
I. During the early flood, the difference is immediately obvious. After a quick trip to the wardrobe, Rawne will be wearing colorful clothing. Bright, clashing colors in many patterns. He'll spend most of his time in the lounge, but he'll go up to the deck to smoke and stare at the stars.
II. Later, he'll seem to go back to normal. But he's got a deadlier air, now, and is quick to pull a knife on anyone who irritates him. Which is most people. He takes to lurking in the greenhouse and snarling at anyone who passes by.

ii. greenhouse
He's used to far more danger than this.
Re: ii. greenhouse
The warning's only because it's a kid.

"We use them in the 41st millenium. And I might use mine now. If you don't. Feth. Off."
Re: ii. greenhouse
He would've just turned to look at the flowers, but the response leaves him wide eyed with fascination.
"The 41st millennium? Truly?"

Avalon has their orb out when they enter the greenhouse, little streaks of green curling over it as they look for something familiar. Their hair is longer, but their default form is otherwise recognizable.
When they see Rawne, the green shifts into various shades of purple and orange before they slip the orb back in its bag. They approach carefully, trying not to startle him.

They stay out of range for stabbing, but get close enough that he could hit them if he threw the knife. They slowly pull their own knife out of their belt and toss it behind them, watching to see if he recognizes them.

Their expression settles into something like concern, but not for themself. “How long have you been here?”

“I think I know another version of you. I remember knowing you, but you had been here for a few years.”

Two Ferals Meet in a Greenhouse
This place is strange. Very much like the underground cities of Csilla where things grow under no true sun, but also that there is nothing here he recognizes. It is as alien as he is.
There - a creature in the shape of a man, slightly smaller than himself, armed with a knife.
He wants it.
He moves like a shadow, deadly and graceful.
Re: Two Ferals Meet in a Greenhouse
Which is to say, he's peering around him, blade out, but he doesn't notice Raw'nuru.
Re: Two Ferals Meet in a Greenhouse
He waits, and then moves.
Re: Two Ferals Meet in a Greenhouse
I, Deck
He looks slightly different, himself. Not quite as emotive, with silver peeking out between his sleeve and glove on his left arm rather than the matte black metal of his normal prosthetic. But he still knows, and apparently feels like he's friends with, Rawne.
Re: I, Deck
He also pets the dogs. They are cute.
Re: I, Deck
The dogs happily accept petting, crowding up around Rawne's feet. B is on alert, though, hoping this isn't a version of Rawne somehow that is violent towards animals. He can't imagine that, but then, he also couldn't imagine Rawne in neon.
Re: I, Deck
It's his only rebellion. In every other way, he's a model son. Even if it means carving out every ounce of personality.
But he'd never hurt dogs. They're innocent. They don't judge him.
Re: I, Deck
Re: I, Deck
Which is to say, all surface charm and no substance.
