But I see you now [Open!]
Who: Oscar and you!
Where: All over the Barge!
When: Early September, pre breach
What: Oscar doing Oscar things all over the Barge
What: Oscar doing Oscar things all over the Barge
Warnings: drunkenness? who knows what else!
Chapel
There were a lot of things that he needed to privately process. It wasn't anyone's fault. Not really. There was, well...a lot that he needed to go through himself, and think on. And there was one place that always helped: the chapel.
Perhaps he prayed to a new god these days. He wasn't sure- he had told John they were going to talk about it. But he would sit on the bench at times, with his rosary, his lips moving silently as he counted through the various prayers. Sometimes he would be on his knees, his arms up, his single hand up in prayer.
And sometimes when he got up, it made him stumble, and fall back on his feet. In part, because, well, the feeling had gone out of his legs from kneeling for so long.
Library
He wasn't always in the chapel though. Sometimes, he went to the library. He had something important that he needed to research. Which was- well.Magazines upon magazines of interior design, and books too. He would pause every so often if he found a photo he liked, and would sometimes fumble with his communicator in order to take a photo for later use.
Lounge
He liked socializing in the lounge. Sometimes, he drank of water and tea, but there were some nights that were...bad for him. So he had a different idea, at times, and would drink heavily, the hardest things the bartenders would let him.
Sometimes it would be only from the scent that gave away how drunk he would be before heading to bed that night.
Pool
He worked of course, whether he binged or not. Though he tried his best to keep up with the work he had, at the pool, and make sure that it would be open early in the morning so that people could take in swiming laps as an early morning exercise- though he made sure that it would be closed once he wasn't there. Just in case, to prevent any drowning.
Of course he cleaned up the bathrooms too, but the pools were easier to find him, speak to him, and get to see what pool toys could be talked about. He didn't know much about the use of plastic after all.

Lounge
Slipping inside, he makes note of who is working, his favorite bartender, and that Oscar has found himself a seat.
He's already a few drinks in, but so is Varker, and he slips into the seat next to him with a gentle bump of his hip and shoulder. "Good evening Oscar, mind if I join you?"
Re: Lounge
And now, after Iago had made sure he was well supplied so he was well on his way to being drunk, he offered a gentle bump back, hip and shoulder.
"Of course Varker. Please- have a seat." He gestured to the possible places he could settle in. "It's good to see you. Not here for the bailey's?"
Re: Lounge
"The Bailey's was an offer to you for something a little sweeter in your morning coffee. I generally stick with whiskey." Which he orders when he sits down, neat.

"Rooms, mostly." He tapped a finger to a magazine. "I'm trying go redesign my room. It's not very...well thought out for having company, currently."

"Get in!"
What? It's fun!
Re: Pool
He was dangerous, sure. But so was everyone on the Barge.
"Maybe later, once all the towels are put away, mm?"
no subject
Logic. He has it. Sometimes.
"I'll show you how to use the toys."

Library
Abaurycy has no idea who this man is, but he is clearly in need of some assistance.
Re: Library
He made a face, before glancing up at the blond. "I don't think it's a very welcoming color, myself. I'd like something...warmer. And subtle. Which would you go for?"
He turned the magazine around, offering it to Abaurycy to get his opinion.
Strangers but hey. Maybe he had taste.

"Oscar?"
Re: Lounge
He also had forming lovebites on his jawline and neck.
"There you are. You look...amazing." He gushed. He was a happy drunk and high off attention. "Do you always look this good, or am I just...silly?"
Re: Lounge
"I don't know what you see, Oscar. But it's very sweet of you to say so." He's going to kiss him on top of the head. He can't help it.
"Would you like me to bring you home now?"

Pool
There's generally also not any need to have concern over him lurking at the bottom of the pool - he keeps to a regular schedule, which is usually just swimming laps back and forth - but sometimes he does sink to the bottom to sit in what can seem like a slightly meditative fashion.
...And a more disturbing fashion when he suddenly appears after being 'gone' for a time.
When he smoothly slips out of the water, he gives Oscar a polite nod.
Re: Pool
It was when Armand just...sunk to the bottom for awhile that caused concern. He didn't try to rescue him anymore at least. But the sudden reappearance made him jump, his hand making the pool skimmer slap against the pool water.
"Armand! Jesus." He had to scramble to grab the skimmer again. "I forgot you were still here."
Re: Pool
The next few times he had kept an eye on Oscar just in case, which had helped in avoiding 'rescue', but not helped the nerves of anyone who might not want to look into the water and see orange eyes staring back up at them from the depths. He's far less noticeable when he's simply lying on the floor of the pool like a stingray.
He blinks at him, taking in the breath he needs to speak after the time spent without any air in his lungs. "I found some stones."

library
He wouldn't say his feelings about Oscar are particularly weird, and therefore casually wandering up to him is the best way to keep it at a reasonable normal.
Re: library
Yeah they were totally normal here.
"I was thinking of redecorating my cabin, have a few more rooms." He added. "Including a spare bedroom and a sitting area."
Re: library
"I'd say a mattress on the floor was good enough in my day, but, for once, I think that was after yours and, beside, I just couldn't get any other furniture."
