Operation Six: Big Brother Material
WHO: Randel and you
WHAT: baby cuteness, big brother assistance, and other; if you are currently a little kid with longer hair who needs help with maintenance, please seek out the very large boy who's more than willing to take care of you all
WHERE: anywhere on board
WHEN: mid march
NOTES: No warnings to begin with. If you'd like a starter, or to plot for something, feel free to ping me on plurk @ yarnzipan
Randel currently comes in three flavors, at least one of them some people might recognize.
The first is a little boy of about five or six years who's precocious and sweet and wants to learn anything and everything, who thinks deeply about things, how people interact, what they say and how they handle things. He can be found just about anywhere, but probably mostly near the food. There's so much and it's all so good!
The second is an older teenage boy, still sweet, but he's mostly given up on learning. It's not his skill. Instead, he'll be around to help with any of the little kids because, well, he's used to it. That's what he can do for the group, and he's going to do it. He knows how to do all kinds of nice, functional braids or pretty cute braids. He can handle any tangle. If a kid needs a bath, well, he'll help out with that if necessary. Just nothing but big brother material on this still entirely normal sized young man.
The last is Randel as he usually is. And well, he's probably either in the greenhouse or helping to take care of kids when he's an adult. He's still pretty good at that one, even though he worries about tainting them with... well, himself.

"Hi," she begins, as one does, "I'm Misty. I don't think I've seen you around before, and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind helping me finish all these grapes while I touch base? Already took them, and I'd hate to see them go to waste."

None have gotten into trouble yet, but a particularly bold one has a habit of skirting the edges of the deck that makes her a little nervous. It is for this reason she approaches him in the greenhouse, arms more or less full of this cat, carefully stepping over and around chickens to reach him.
"Is she yours?" She asks, clearly wanting to be businesslike and clearly wavering every time a long-furred tail bats her in the face. It is difficult to be serious while holding a cat.
your choice
"Halt!"
