Who: Eliot and open
What: Eliot lurking about assorted parts of the barge before and during the flood
Where: The Chapel, the gym, hallways, etc....
When: beginning of January and through the flood
Warnings: Will add if needed
Eliot's been keeping mostly to himself, for values of keeping to himself that include haunting the hallways and public areas of the barge in an attempt to learn everything he can about the place and the people in it without getting himself actively entangled with any of them. He's looking for weaknesses to exploit, potential avenues of escape, not ways to fit in and get comfortable. He hasn't slept in his designated room once so far, though he does use it to store (carefully hidden) some of the items he's gathered for improvising weapons, instead rotating through the empty cabins for irregularly timed catnaps, using the public showers for quick, efficient scrub downs only when the halls are empty and quiet and the facilities deserted.
Dining Hall
The only place he tends to linger is the dining hall during mealtimes, usually in a dim corner with a good view of the room, working his way methodically through his food and watching the comings and goings of the other residents. Matching faces to things he's seen on the network, figuring out as much as possible who's friendly with who, who's at odds, who's keeping a careful distance like himself. Mostly, trying to tell the wardens from the prisoners, because he wants to make sure he knows exactly who's there to win their heart's desire off the captivity of the rest.
Gym
He does the bulk of his exercising on deck or in whatever empty cabin he's squatting in at the time, but he has taken to making limited use of the gym. He's in there for maybe half an hour a day, usually on a treadmill, still in boots and jeans and a flannel shirt, because the clothes in 'his' closet were sized for the seventeen year old version of him, and he might not be a tall man, but he's a hell of a lot bigger than he was back then. So he runs at a steady pace, mostly watching whoever else might be using the room with a coolly assessing gaze.
Deck
He does his 'real' running on the deck, usually during what passes for the middle of the night, sometimes for hours at a time. He doesn't seem particularly bothered by the snow or the ice, and once he's been moving long enough he'll strip off his flannel and just keep going round and round in his jeans, tee and boots. Sometimes, though, he just stands at the rail and stares out, because he's not afraid of that shit, dammit.
Greenhouse
The one place he comes just because... he wants to. At least there's some damn green, and he'll find a quiet spot and just sit and breathe in the scent of something that's not metal and sweat and over-processed air for a while, maybe pull the occasional weed because he's there, so why not?
Chapel, for Steve McGarret
He's here for one reason only, and that's because he's figured it's the only place he's going to manage to get his hands on the means for fire. Candles might not be the best tools in the world for melting things, but they'll do, and they're available here, apparently unrestricted. So for once he's actually wearing the battered old jacket from the wardrobe in his cabin, the pocket space welcome as he slips half a dozen candles and a couple books of matches for lighting them deftly out of sight.
During the Flood
Starting the morning of the flood Eliot can be found lurking even more lurkily in the corridors of the barge, given it's a lot easier for a twelve inch toy Delta Force Operator to move around unnoticed that a full grown human man. He'd actually tried to take off most of the gear and insignia and stash it in his room, not at all amused to have his history laid out for all to see, but even though everything seems to be detailed and realistic it's not actually removable, and he has a nagging fear that most of it's actually sewn to him in places he can't see. To compound that, the weapons are disappointingly non-functional, though at least he has rope for getting up on tables and at door handles.
For the first couple of days he'll be keeping mostly to his usual habits, but as the flood progresses he'll take to setting up ambushes from under tables in the dining hall or the common rooms, trying (pretty effectively) to sneak into peoples rooms to booby-trap them, and possibly assembling the requirements for tiny molotov cocktails in regretful lieu of C4 or armor piercing rounds if he can manage to steal alcohol from someone and find tiny enough containers. And other tiny residents might be either recruited as collaborators or treated as enemy combatants.

Flood
It's not the first time someone's tried to break in. Arthas learned his lesson; there's nothing valuable in there any more. And... really, he wants to see how someone a foot tall is goign to manage this.
He leans against a wall, quiet now that his plate armor is gone, and settles in to watch.
Flood
Flood
"So, who are you normally?"
Re: Flood
God dammit, that wouldn't have happened if he'd had normal manual dexterity. That's not the top of his list of concerns for the moment, though, and he pulls himself up onto the nearest ledge before turning towards the sound and training his--tiny, non-functional--HK416 reflexively on the perceived threat.
"None'a your business," he growls. Or, you know, would, if his tiny little voice could actual managing a convincing growl. It's a little high pitched, really.

"Ow... That wasn't supposed to happen!"
no subject
"What the fuck, watch where you're going," he barks, resettling his helmet where it's gone cockeyed and shoving his goggles back into place as he turns to face the... yep, still a floppy stuffed dalmatian, assault rifle raised and trained just past Kevin's ear.
no subject
The voice sounds kind of like the kid Eliot first met but... even younger. And the toy dalmatian is definitely still a puppy.

Well. He's doing it a little less himself these days, too, but that's neither here nor there.
So Alec has left Eliot largely to his devices, keeping his late night patrols regular so the newer inmate has plenty of time to get out of his way, avoiding the showers when he hears them on, and waiting for the pounding of booted feet to disappear from the deck before going out there himself.
And then one day it pleases him to slip out of the hatchway on cat silent feet, sit down on one of the benches on the deck, and wave at Eliot as he jogs past with direct eye contact and a broad, crooked grin.
no subject
He's seen him, of course, the place is small enough he's probably seen about everyone at some point, but this one he's noticed. The way he moves, the way he watches, pings Eliot's radar hard. He's curious, he'll admit that much, but he's not going to cut his run short just because the kid decided for some reason tonight was the night to demand Eliot's attention. So he keeps up his steady, ground-eating pace for another four laps, not bothering to make eye contact again though he's clearly sharply aware of Alec's presence until he estimates he's done at least a full ten miles and slows to a jog for one more lap then slows again to a walk to grab the water bottle he'd brought out with him and mostly drain it in one long drink as he paces over to where Alec's sitting.
"You like watchin' other people sweat?" he asks mildly. And he's managed to work up a decent sweat, enough that standing out in the cold on deck will probably get uncomfortable soon now that he's stopped running.
no subject
Not bad, for a human. Not bad at all.
He lets Eliot approach and grins at him, apparently not bothered much by the cold, although he is wearing a new leather jacket and a turtleneck under that.
"Obviously," he replies, reasonably. "Much better than sweating myself, unless it's a joint venture. I do feel the need to point out that this is a public space, though, and I'm using it more appropriately than you are just now."

Gym
This is the first time she's seen Eliot here, though she's made note of him around the Barge. She only glances at him for a second as she heads towards the dummies, but it's enough to analyse his form and estimate his speed. He knows what he's doing.
"Have you tried the Enclosure yet?" She doesn't look at him as she speaks, focusing on putting the dummies in place. (It's a lot easier, now that she can control her chair without hands.)
Re: Gym
"The Enclosure?" He's seen it mentioned on the network, of course, but getting access isn't something he's considered likely. "Pretty sure that's off limits t'my kind unless you're willing to do a hell of a lot more sucking up than I am," he points out mildly.
Gym
She extends the staff with a snap of her wrist, wheeling herself into the centre of the dummies. She's usually pretty good at not letting herself be surrounded, but that doesn't mean she should be prepared for it.

Chapel
That being said, right now Steve is all about collecting supplies. Candles and matches are on his list and he could have smacked himself when it finally dawned on him that the Chapel would have them, and likely they'd be easy access.
Slipping into the Chapel, Steve is curses under his breath finding someone else already there. Outside of weddings and funerals he's got no idea what proper church etiquette is. Stuck in a moment of indecision he hovers at the door.

"Actually spent a whole second thinking of pretending I was here to light a candle for the dead, hell, could just as easily be for me, seein' as I'm supposedly the dead." He smirks and shrugs. "But it's not like they're locking the damn things up."

Greenhouse
A little too excitable, sometimes. She's not sure if it's the exposure to multiple people with plant powers - with varying levels of control - or the Barge itself that makes them rather more active than most green life.
So she keeps tabs on where Eliot is, even though she doesn't even look up from where she's dividing and thinning out her herbs. At least until-
"That one's not a weed." She calls out without turning around.

Without her winter clothes on, she reads as just a little bit more of a menace than the woman he met up on deck.
Re: gym
"That's a hell of a prosthetic." He's not much for casual conversation these days, but she'd been honest, seemed fair, and he's seeing less and less of a point in turning himself into a ghost in the halls. It doesn't mean he's settling in, or accepting his fate, just that making connections will likely be useful in the long run.

She says, warmly, as she finishes up with it and moves to slip her arm into it, before beginning to buckle the belts that'll tighten it back on.
"It's made for combat wear and tear. I've had it for years, minus a few parts replaced here and there."

[Deck] THE LATEST I hope you don't mind. :x
He's in workout clothes - a t-shirt and sweatpants - and his running circuit actually takes him through the whole Barge, from the bottom up, so when he hits the deck, he's not cold at all. But it's then that he realizes he's not alone; he has to slow just a little to keep an eye on the snow and ice underfoot, but he's still going much faster than any normal person should when he calls, "Comin' up on your left. Shouldn't you be in bed?"
The wry look on his face and the slightly teasing tone of his voice indicate that he's teasing.
[Deck] Mind? I am excite!
"Shouldn't you be registering a flight plan?" he shoots back as the blond behemoth comes up on him and passes.
[Deck] \o/
After that, he disappears, on his way up to finish his circuit by hitting the upper decks. When he does appear again, coming back the way he came, he's walking, done with his run and carrying two bottles of water - one tucked under his arm, and the other open and two-thirds of the way gone. He waits until he catches Eliot's eye, then tosses him the other, in a slow arc that should be easy to catch.
