well, I looked my demons in the eyes
Who: Charles, David, Vesper, Peter and you!
What: Memory sharing
Where: All over!
When: Throughout the me I see in you flood
Warnings: Specific triggers will also be warned for in the subject of the memory tags themselves, but they will include descriptions of the Blitz, alcoholism, references to a murder/suicide, description of another murder (Uncle Ben) and David being a sketchy human hating fucker.
NOTE: I've laid out some threadstarters for each of my characters with enough flexibility to allow for encounters at any point during the flood. If we've planned something out, feel free to tag in wherever, whenever and if we haven't planned anything, tag in and shoot me a line about what kind of memory you'd like to get/give to my character either on my plotting post comment, via plurk or by AIM @ girlwonder004 so I know what horrors to send your way.
Everyone is going to be giving and receiving memories by PROXIMITY, unless they've got enough cr with your character that they won't mind being touched by them. Everyone is TRANSMITTING and RECEIVING.

Charles
He spends more time in the CES as the flood continues, looking to put some distance between him and the other people on board. He's not entirely sure how these memories are being exchanged, but he knows there are things that he's not eager to share with people, and he doubts they want him to see their secrets, either.
And he certainly doesn't want anyone to think that this is him using his telepathy to spy on them.]

What are you reading?

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. A friend gave it to me a few months ago.

Harry Potter? [Somehow he's missed this phenomenon. There's a teasing smile pulling at his mouth.] Have you exhausted everything in the adult section?
no subject
I'll have you know that this sort of thing tends to have just as much value for adult readers as it does for children. You realize The Hobbit was a bedtime story J.R.R. Tolkien used to tell his children?

But instead, he's grown more insolent and bored, so while he still spends quite a lot of time in the library, and still offers to help anyone looking through the stacks - often by sneaking up on them - he's also more likely to be insolent and sarcastic, which is sort of saying something.
He can also be found on deck, watching the stars. It's anyone's guess what he's thinking while he does it.]

You okay?

There's a part of her that almost wonders if it would be alright to just cancel classes and hide out in her room until it's finished, but she doesn't. She shows up at the teaching annex to give math lessons as usual, but immediately heads back to her room when it's over.
There are things she has no desire to let people see again, and she'd rather leave people wondering infinitely what a boring accountant is doing on board here than give them the explanation.]

Feeling all right? [How bad has it been, is what he means.]

I've been better. [She toes off her shoes and pulls her legs up onto the bed, leaning back against the other set of pillows.] What about you?

But since neither of those options really work on a place like the Barge, instead, he's just trying to keep busy. He's working on the clacks towers for Mal and Polly in the 4th floor common room and in the lab, and drags some other projects back into the maintenance and repair office just to keep his hands busy.
He's antsy through his whole shift in the infirmary though, and wishes he could in good conscience drag one of his projects in here to tinker with, too. But it's an infirmary, not a garage, so he has to settle for just doing inventory and reading some medical textbooks.
It's interesting, but he's still pretty sure he's not about to apply for any pre-med programs when he gets back home.]
