Lastvoyages is highly focused on character development and interactions. It's set on a physics-defying barge in unknown space, where everyone on board is either an inmate or a warden. Wardens are there to redeem inmates in exchange for absolutely anything! The Admiral fulfills their deal once they graduate an inmate. Deals can range from something as simple as wealth and riches to something as selfish (and/or noble) as the return of a deceased loved one. Inmates have died or are near death (canonically or under an invented circumstance), and are in need of a second chance: they get that opportunity on the Barge.
