[Tiffany sounds better-ish, today - she's at the point in her death toll where she still feels like crap, but not so much like crap that it's impossible to push past through sheer force of will. Sleeping a lot has helped, as has staying in bed even when she's awake. And so bed is where she's making this post from now, curled up on her side with her communicator in one hand and a pen and paper in the other.]
Hey. I got the Admiral to get radios for everybody, in case we can't use the network where we're going; it was Jean's idea, and it was a good one. He put 'em all in my cabin for some fucking reason, but I'm in the infirmary right now and can't give 'em out - I'm gonna need help with that. If you wanna do it, I'll give you a key so you can get at 'em. I used the pairing announcements to make a list of everybody on the ship, and I think I got everybody. When somebody comes and gets their radio, you cross their name off the list.
[She pauses to catch her breath, then continues.]
If you don't get one, I'll find you later and give one to you. I'm fucking serious. I can't stop y'all from throwing 'em out or taking 'em apart or whatever you wanna do with 'em, but you're all gonna get one. I'm working on army tactical bags and crash bags, too; Eliot and Sinjir suggested those. If the Admiral gives 'em to me, it'll be the same thing.
[She's not bluffing here - as soon as she's ready to be up and about, anyone who hasn't picked up their supplies will be tracked down.]
We been talking a lot about survival skills. About weapons some. We should talk more about sticking together and other ways we're gonna keep each other safe. Most people are gonna look out for their friends, but there's people who could get left behind by accident - real new people, I bet, or people who everybody figures are gonna be good at taking care of themselves. Quiet people who stay out of the way most of the time. And people who are in comas, Jesus; we talked about comas yet? Do we got anybody in comas right now?
I like the idea of making groups. Small ones, with five or six people, using the list to make sure nobody gets left out. I bet it'd work better if we can choose who's in our group, but they don't have to be a big deal - you don't gotta become best friends or spend all your time together. Just-- check in. Make sure you're all safe and with somebody. If you wanna check in with me, that'd make me feel a whole lot better too - 'cause it don't matter if you're my best friend or I fucking hate you, you're Barge people, and I don't wanna let you get lost. But I know there's people who ain't gonna want to do that.
[Another pause, a little longer this time.]
I think-- yeah, I think that's all. Tell me who you're gonna be looking out for the most. That's the only request I got right now, 'cause even if we don't do groups it'll be useful to know who has a lot of eyes on 'em and who doesn't. Or tell me if you're not gonna be looking out for anybody at all and you don't want any part in this; that'll be helpful too. Say what you want about Tristan - at least he warned us.

Don't depend too much on the radios if the network is down. He said Land of the Dead.
Spirits mess with electrical frequencies - including radios.

What if we drew those patterns on 'em? Like the ones you made into tattoos?

But, uh, what do you mean by 'say what you want about Tristan'? Have people been saying things about me? 'Cause I'm gonna have to fight 'em if they're talking shit.

[She's pleasantly surprised, though. It likely means that they were too busy helping to take the time to stop and get angry.]

And Toad's so quiet no one notices him unless he starts trouble. The grown one.

People could vote on a leader if that's what they want, but I bet there's other people that wouldn't want anyone in charge.

I'll take a radio. I don't know what else I can do, I mean... I've had to live off crap food before, but it's not easy for me, y'know?
But, uh. If I'm keeping an eye on anyone, it's you, Mickey, Todd, Shiro, Anya, and, uh, Harry.

Thanks, Pietro.

[She's a little surprised - it's not as if she'd been expecting a visit from Elizabeth.]
Nah, don't worry about it; it's okay. You know, I never asked you what your name is. It's Elizabeth, right?

I'm sure you're busy with planning, but any chance I can stop by? The Iron Bull mentioned you had a book I should borrow, since I've been asking him about the Qun.
